Ceremony backup location

Amy, on January 1, 2020 at 5:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
Happy New Year all. I am in need of a word Smith. I am getting married in Wisconsin on May 2 on family land outside. Due to the unpredictable weather in Wisconsin in early May, I have a backup location(still family land but "inside"). We honestly wont know until the day or 2 prior which location we will hold the ceremony. We are going to set up a voicemail that says which spot to go. #1 or #2. How would one word this on the details card? My invitation says location #1.

Thank you in advance for any help provided.

If you have a "details" card, I might say something like, "in the event of inclement weather the ceremony will take place at '...'. Please check the wedding website the morning of the wedding for final details." Good for you though with having a "plan B," too many times brides take the position of, "We're doing what we want regardless of the guests' comfort!"

Thank you. I'm trying to not ruin the dirt road that leads to the place I have dreamt of getting married since I was very little. So weather, snow melt etc will be put into play as well. My family will understand but FHs may be slightly thrown off.

I think the wording the PP shared is perfect! Fingers crossed your plan A can go-ahead 🤞
