Ceremony and Reception in the same room?!

We were planning on having our ceremony and reception take place in the same room, with everyone seated at their dining tables. But now I'm thinking how weird is that going to be when the parents sit down. Am I just over thinking this? Is anyone else doing the same thing and how are you guys...

We just decided to do this not to long ago... I had a lot of the same issues that everybody is stressing and I think and HOPE I have it all figured out, my last obstacle is how my DJ can set up now? I may have to suck it up and pay him extra to come earlier now Smiley sad rather than having everybody watch him set up while we begin to go through our buffet and start eating

    Hi,

Does any member on the forum have any recommendations for a good restaurant in los Angeles area which provides a separate banquet room for up to 100 people as to organize a family function over there as I searches for banquet room

    Thanks in advance.
