Do guests typically take the centerpieces home? My parents say yes, but that sounds odd to me.

It's not just the large centerpieces that they take either, after my daughter's reception we were missing almost 50 votives, led battery candles, etc. I still am a bit pissed Smiley winking. ETA they had 'property off' stickers on the bottom of all of them too.

I'm Mexican and I know that my family always takes centerpieces when they go to weddings.

My tall centerpieces, the flower portion popped off the vases. I went around and removed them and then people took them home. The low centerpieces were loose flowers in vases and some were taken. I actually wish more people took flowers home.

Typically at every party including weddings that I have been to the centerpieces get taken home by family or guests.. But they usually only take the top piece with the flowers not that hanging crystals or vase!
