Centerpiece needs something...

on August 28, 2019 at 9:23 AM

Our wedding is in fall — I’m making our centerpieces - are these too “winter” (I want them to be white/silver) also do I need to add something in the vase? White stones? Marbles? Or just a ribbon around it ? I can’t make up my mind !

I think that would look amazing either way. If you already have the white branches I say use them. Submerged in the water makes them look less like winter branches and more like cool wedding décor for any season.

This does look a bit winter like if left just like this. You can use ribbon to tie around the vase, leaves on the table scattered around the base and/or some colored marbles inside the vase.

I am a sucker for branches & manzanita pieces.
Hmm I’ll include a picture of some diamond pieces I saw at the Dollar Tree and it brings its own lighting.
You can also add white or clear marbles at the bottom.

To jazz up the vase, some rhinestone roll. Here’s an example I literally googled just now & it’s from Party City. I’ve also seen it in Dollar Tree FYI lol. Good Luck!!!

I would do a mix of grey and white stones. I think it would really tie it together

Definitely would put stones in there. I think a blue or gray to match and maybe some fairy lights like this?

My wedding is fall and I wanted my centerpieces to reflect that a bit. Personally, I think the base is too narrow and that's what is throwing things off visually.

I had to create a wider base for my centerpieces. The base I used comes in yellow and rose gold, silver, and I think even white and black maybe. The image you posted would look nice with a silver base. I'd even spray paint some silver branches and have it white and silver mixed in the vases. I'd personally probably add white flowers or petals around the base with votive candles, but that's not needed.

What about adding lights to it? Like white lights.
