So, what we have here is a vanity chair with a pillow case over it to see what this looks like with a white background 😂. I swear we don't own anything white besides 3 pillow cases. Anyway, I'm trying to decide if it is done or if it still needs something more. The table numbers were a steal on...

So, what we have here is a vanity chair with a pillow case over it to see what this looks like with a white background 😂. I swear we don't own anything white besides 3 pillow cases.

Anyway, I'm trying to decide if it is done or if it still needs something more. The table numbers were a steal on Amazon and I'm going to paint them with ivory acrylic and then a layer of this opal irredescent stuff over that. So, that will add some more sparkle. There will be at least double the amount of twigs in the center vase. I just didn't want to get into cutting more just yet.

Flowers are lings moment. Each table will have all burgundy or all heirloom blush roses. The 3 in my mockup were samples I ordered to choose my flowers.

    That's where I was - needed something to pull the base together, but have seen mirrors done so many times before. Plus, then I am stuck with all these mirrors. At least with these, I will reuse then as place settings for the holiday parties we have. They have a ton of options, too.

    Thank you! I wanted something a little different, too. I'm just trying to make sure it doesn't look "cheap." I don't mind things looking crafty or creative, so long as it doesn't look like I didn't care!

    I painted the bright white table numbers with a 50/50 mix of ivory and pearl. Then I went over it with an iridescent opal finish and it really looks a lot better. I am trying to tie in as much opal/iridescent as possible because that is the beadwork on my gown. I also intend to print my own menus, that match my invitations, on ivory iridescent laserjet paper to tie it all together!

    I love the opal iridescent look. I wanted to paint some of my DIYs that color but couldnt find any in a spray paint lol

    They do have it in spray paint, but it is glitter heavy! I wanted micro glitter if any for the sparkle as opposed to a heavy glittery look.
