Centerpiece Ideas?

Madelyn, on September 16, 2019 at 9:56 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 10
Hi all!

I’m having a really hard time figuring out what to do for our centerpieces. We are going to have round tables for the guest with a white tablecloth and a lilac table runner for each table. However, that’s all I got! I’m not doing table numbers because it will be free sitting for the guests. Does anyone have any ideas that won’t break the bank? What did you do for your centerpieces?

My centerpieces were very simple and fairly inexpensive. I got the cylinder vases and candles at IKEA.

We will be doing this for our centerpieces.

All bottles were donated to us by family/friends and our venue will provide mirror tiles/votive candles. So really the only expense to us was the gold spray paint and the actual flowers which cost around $6 per table because we're DIYing and going with a local floral wholesaler!

I don't have any photos at the moment, but we're using a few stacked books, a votive holder with a few small flowers, bourbon bottles from the distillery we're getting married in with fairy lights, and table numbers for our centerpieces.

I always recommend mason jars and candles for not breaking the bank

Here's what we ended up doing. I'm not sure if it helps, but everything was DIY and super easy to make.

You can build submersible centerpieces for less than $10 a piece. The vases are available at the dollar store, flowers are a couple dollars a piece, candles are cheap on Amazon.

I'm on a tight budget, so I'm going super simple and inexpensive. Flat mirror, topped by 3 cylinder vases (3 different heights), filled w/purple stones and water, topped with a floating candle. There may or may not be some simple greenery around the base, not sure yet. But most of the supplies are coming from Dollar Tree online, and aren't costing much at all!

I'm doing wine bottles (wine that I and my family drank) with silk flowers (60% off at michaels) with lanterns I got for $4 a piece at A.C moore. and small easels to write the table name. The wood cut out my dad is doing for me with logs he has. Then the other half of tables i'm using the ammo cans which were donated. Look around at local art and craft stores. even a dollar store! You can always find good deals!
