Centerpiece Idea

Erin, on July 17, 2019 at 4:16 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 5
I’m planning a budget wedding and I had an idea for centerpieces. I wanted to put it out to the masses to see if maybe it’s a good idea or just silly.

So I was thinking I could put a jar with those fish bowl stones you can get from the dollar tree in it in the center of the table. The seating arrangement cards would be wrapped around the stems of fake flowers, and when each person picked up their flower and headed to their table, they would put their flower into the jar to make a small bouquet in the center of the table.

I think this would be a good idea, as long as there is a sign to tell guests where to put the flowers!

Seems really creative to me! Like Allie said, let them know where the flowers go and it'll be golden!

That's a really cute idea!! Like DIY centerpieces, made unique by the guests. Cool.

I like it! Logistically, as PP said, make sure guests know to put the flowers in the bowls in the center. Figure out how the names will get wrapped around, how it will work to DYI and how it will look. Also figure out how to display the flowers when guests walk in. Will they be laid out on a table, or maybe you can hang them somehow?
