Centerpiece help

I want to do the popular centerpiece with the cylinder vases with stones at the bottom, water, a flower submerged in the water and a floating candle. I’ve also seen the mason jars with the firefly lights in them. Has anyone ever seen a centerpiece arrangement that incorporates both of these things? I attached pics of both. What do you all think??Centerpiece help 1

I suppose if you find string lights that can be submerged in water. But to me a flower AND string lights are too many elements in the water. Also mason jars are usually so short/small that I imagine everything would look bunched up inside. However, I’ve seen single waterproof lights that can be placed under the rocks to give a glow from below. I personally don’t care for those lights because they create an LED glow that isn’t the same as a warm candlelight glow. So having those 2 different style lights within one centerpiece arrangement looks “off” (to me).

The submerged calla lily centerpiece you posted looks nice without being over done and gaudy

Maybe you can do something like this pic without using water... and then use tealights around the vases if you still want candlelight.

If you did fairy light jars, you could weave greenery and flowers laying on table. I’m doing vase with a candle and sea glass. It will sit on mirror with tea light and flower pedals.

I think I would pick depending on the overall feel/ theme of your wedding. I think they are both really nice. The vases i would think are more elegant and then the jars would be more on the rustic side. What theme are you guys going with? Or what are you other decorations?
