Centerpiece Giveaway

Chelsea, on June 24, 2019 at 8:50 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4
To give away my wedding centerpieces, I'm going to go with the whoever has a ticket under the chair gets the centerpiece. However, I want to make the tickets myself and put something on it about either keeping the centerpiece for yourself or feel free to give it away to someone who really wants it. I worked really hard on my centerpieces and I want to make sure whoever takes them home really wants them. Any ideas on how to go about this? Thanks!!

You could also do a game where whomever wins gets the centerpiece. I'm sure also though whomever wins and doesn't want it would let someone else take it

The ticket idea sounds great, but it also sounds like a lot of extra work involved. Not only do you have to make the tickets, but someone has to take the time (I'm assuming day-of or day before) to stick them to the chair. I think something like a prize (like PP mentioned) or even a random name generator might be easier.

My wedding coordinator was actually the one that suggested the ticket idea! She said she's found that way to be easiest. She and her team at my reception venue are the ones setting it up and would be the ones placing the tickets under the chairs

Well that's convenient! It sounds like she's done it a time or two, so best to trust her judgement.
