Celebration of Marriage invites

Can you all critique?

I'm a little hung up on the wording - would it be better to insert the word "between" before our names

or- "... Invites you to celebrate the marriage of" or something else?

Why celebration of marriage? We're getting married where we live in TN, and ALL of my very large family lives in the Chicago area - she didn't think it was fair to expect them all to come to TN, so she's bringing the party to them. Its also hard on my grandparents to travel.

The way you have it now, I'd say" "...invites you to the Celebration of Marriage FOR Taylor and Ethan"

but I think I prefer "invites you to celebrate the marriage of Taylor to Ethan"

Spell out our actual marriage date as well?

We hosted a vow renewal and used "we joyfully request the pleasure of your company as we celebrate our marriage" - In my detail card, which is also attached, I described the event. "we will be renewing our vows in an intimate ceremony followed by dinner, drinks, and dancing" - Yours might be a little different if you are not renewing your vows
