Catholic & Baptist Wedding

My fiancé’s (feels so awesome saying it 💓) family is predominately catholic and speak Spanish as for my family is Baptist and predominately English speaking. I want to incorporate both religions in the ceremony. Having both a priest and a pastor. For the priest I wanted them to speak in Spanish kind of translate everything that is going on.

This is just an idea and I don’t know if it’s actually even possible and if my idea is over the top lol. Anyone who’s experienced dual religion weddings or a wedding that consisted of both Spanish and English speaking?

Are the pastor and priest willing to work together? I would start there.

Hey, Alexia! Welcome to WeddingWire and congrats!
I don't think this is over the top at all! There's nothing wrong with making sure that all of your family members, current and in-law-to-be, understand everything that's going on! While I haven't attended a Spanish/English wedding myself, most of the weddings I attend in my church are bilingual (Russian).
I found this great article on 11 Tips to Help You Plan a Multicultural Wedding and it has a few tips on working with two religions. Best way to find out if this is possible is to head to church and ask (or call, if you're long distance)!

I would find out first if the Pastor and Priest are willing to work together than go from there.
