For the brides who have a cathedral veil, what are your plans for the reception? Are you keeping your veil on the whole night? Only for major dances? Or coming into the reception without? I'm not to sure how to plan this portion of the evening with my veil. Any advice or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

If I wear a veil it will be ceremony only.

Your dress will mostly likely need to be bustled for the first dances, so with a cathedral veil you would need to carry it over your arm to keep it from getting stepped on. Something to consider when making your decision.

I am wearing a cathedral length veil. Will keep it on for the ceremony and pictures and will take it off before I enter the reception.

I only worse my veil for my ceremony. I switched to a hairpiece for the reception.

I only wore my veil for the ceremony. It is not advisable to try to wear a cathedral veil during the reception.

I took my veil off once I arrived to the reception. The place I bought my dress did offer to bustle my veil but I wasn't a fan of the look. I switch out my jewelry and added a belt to get a different look.

I will have a cathedral veil because they're just so grand. But I'll be taking it off after the ceremony and family photos - so during the reception it won't be on at all.
