Catering

Sarah, on January 23, 2020 at 12:32 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 3

I would like to have catering picked up or delivered to our event buffet style. Anyone who has gone this way or has advice as to have this catering style successful please comment your experience and let me know what worked and what you would have changed if you could. Thank you! Smiley heart

The issue is, you really still need someone on-site to serve the food. If you just put it out as a buffet and no one is minding it, you end up with one kind of food dropped into another or splattered on the table, dirty trays that haven't been removed, trays that no one will touch because they don't want to take the last piece, etc.

Agree with this. Not to mention, you'll need to order much more food since guests won't serve themselves proper portion sizes.

    Hey there, Sarah!

The PPs raise a very good point. Having someone on-site to serve and manage the buffet is important to ensure it’s maintained, kept clean, wipe up splatters, etc. Also, if people are serving themselves, they may take way too much food! Is this something you’ve considered?
