Hi Myrna Were you able to find a caterer yet? Have you booked one?

We went with something similar. Our venue requires us to find our own caterer- which in some ways is great because you get to choose the right person, the right food, and the right price point. We looked at local catering companies and restaurants we liked first. We also asked around a bit to friends and family to see who they knew or recommended. We ended up hiring a culinary chef who makes great food. What we did not count on is that our caterer, a fancy chef in the area, required us to get all the tableware, servingware, silverware, tablecoths, napkins, drinking straws, bussing trays, glasses, etc. for the event. Check with your caterer to see if they supply all these items for you or whether or not you would be responsible for providing them. We like our chef and we are confident that his food is going to be amazing for everyone... we just wish we didn't have to worry about getting every detailed item for the wedding. We currently have a gabillion boxes in our living room until our wedding day. haha
