Casual Reception - Could i still have “bridesmaids”

We had a quick, parents only wedding in June and we are having a bigger, yet fairly casual reception in September. We are not having groomsmen or bridesmaids, but I would like to recognize my closest friends with either a corsage or bracelet or something .. any ideas for this or is it pointless.

I think it would be a nice touch. Maybe they could help you get ready the day of the reception?
