What do you mean by keep it small and intimate with a bigger reception?

With the exception of the best man who is like a brother to the groom it will be immediate family only at the ceremony. And the reception will be held on a mutual friend's property... but then I've also considered having the ceremony and the reception on this mutual friends property… But as far as the bridal party in the groomsmen it will just be immediate family

I haven't decided for sure yet but I think I'm going to wear a black body con dress hi low dress with my leather cut and of course my Harley riding boots!!!

I would still make sure your ceremony stays under 15-20 people. It can look really rude otherwise.

Also, a tiered reception is when you invite some guests to one part of the event and not to the other. This tends to look really gift grabby and can upset a lot of people. As long as you keep the ceremony at a very small number, you should be fine but possibly prepare for hurt feelings.

Actually I'll probably just wear leather jacket instead of the cut because it's gonna be pretty cool in September on the bike

If you are going to do a split guest list like that (only some are coming to the ceremony) then make it immediate family only, with the exception of your FH's best man.

If it is outdoors, I would talk to rental companies about getting a tent for inclement weather. Also rent port a potties (I was told 1 for every 25 guests) as your mutual friend probably does not have enough facilities for everyone.

I love this idea.We had a Harley Davidson theme bday party for my FH we thought about doing it for our wedding but decided not to
