Our guests like to drink A LOT so we know we definitely have to make room for alcohol in our budget. I’m trying to be smart with providing alcohol for our guests but not having to pay a fortune. We haven’t booked a venue yet but many offer cash bar, open host bar, kegs, etc. A venue that we’re leaning towards has a cash bar included in the package but I’m afraid it will come off as tacky. So I was thinking we can purchase 3 kegs (which is about 3 cups per person) and if they want mods they can purchase more alcohol themselves. However, even that I feel might look a little tacky (to them). Also, I’m not a beer drinker, I’m more of a mixed drink/fruity drinker. I don’t want to focus so much on beer when I don’t drink it myself. Is proving a keg & a cash bar a reasonable compromise? *i don’t want people getting stupid wasted either*

We did open beer wine with liquor for pay and it worked nicely! Granted not many of our guests drink (though a few could shut places down!)
I was slightly regretting that bc I'm more of a liquor/mixed drink person but they gave me free drinks. Yay bride perks!
