Can't find videographer for our popular wedding date

Can you expand your search to nearby cities? Our videographer is coming from a city 2+ hours away, bc we were blown away by his work on our friend's wedding. We're paying his hotel but it's totally worth it. Good luck!

I know you've got a really popular date.... Daughter didn't decide to hire a videographer until about a month before the wedding when she received an unexpected bonus. While she'd been VERY picky about all her vendors up to that point, with so little time she didn't have a lot of options. She tried Thumbtack (a website for hiring various freelancers) and she was very pleasantly surprised. She found a great couple, who were available for her date. She looked at a bunch of their videos and was happy with their work. I don't know what the going rate is where you're located, but for comparison, daughter paid $100 per hour for two videographers and that included all the raw footage. She booked them for 7 hours, and she paid an additional $800 for a 6-7 minute highlight film (including fully downloadable link and a hardcopy DVD). So, total, she paid about $1500 and received 6 hours of unedited video and a GREAT highlight video (in So Cal, a high cost area). Good luck! (She is VERY happy to have video along with her 1100+ edited photos.)

Try Wedding Bug. I believe they are nation wide. I opted to do 6 hours of video and we get all the raw footage and a 5-7 minute highlight of the day. It cost right around $1,100 for all of that. You have the option to go onto their website and pick video styles you like and they will choose a videographer that fits your style.
