Same boat. There’s something different about each one of them.

Hi Amanda!! Welcome to WeddingWire!! I'm sorry you're having trouble in your venue search. Smiley sad Like Colleen asked, we can all help you out if you give us a little more information. Where are you, what's your budget, what are you looking for?

Same question - what exactly is it you're looking for and where are you looking?

Fact is, almost every single venue will have something that's not "ideal." Especially if you're searching only in one small, localized area. If you're in a larger metropolitan area, try expanding your search to a little bit further out. Every one of the venues we toured (we're in the Chicago area, btw) had "something" that wasn't 100% right. Even the one we ended up choosing didn't have everything we wanted. Would have loved to have a few other things that the other venues had, but we found a way to work around what was missing and ended up having our DREAM wedding with zero regrets. Are the "things" that are missing from the venues you've seen things you can work around?

    Thanks all!

Im looking in the Orlando Fl area. I would like the ceremony in a church and the reception area in a banquet hall close to the church.

ideally, the cocktail hour would be on a rooftop and then the reception would be in same venue but ballroom style with windows and light (all ballrooms look so dark to me almost basement like).

were having around 120 people and want a dance floor but want to have indoor fireworks for our first dance so looking for a reception area that has some space where for that.

budget is kind of open- however I don’t want to spend 18,000$ on a F&B min. Maybe 6 or 7?

    Thanks for the support y’all!

I think you're going to have a hard time finding any venue for $6 or $7k for 120 people in Orlando.

The kind of wedding you're describing could do well in a hotel, since they have multiple spaces. But indoor fireworks will be another hard sell.

There is no such thing as a "perfect" venue. None of them will have absolutely everything you want. You have to make some compromises. Just make a list of what is most important to you in a venue, and try to find one that has most of those things.
