Can’t find a dress i love - help!

Hey there ! I had the exact same issue. I love berta so much but couldn’t justify the prices. Here are a few options to try.
1. If you are sample size and comfortable look for sample sales. I’ve seen berta samples sell for 2-3 (originally like 10k)
2. Try still white if you are open to a pre worn dress. Berta goes on deep discount there and lots of sizes available. 3. Look into having your dress custom made. There’s that company called anomalie that does customs and they usually start at like 1500 I think 4. (This is what I did) try enzoani! They have very similar dresses to some bertas. Very sexy and glam. I found my perfect dress for 2300! (Pic below)

Bertas sexy and elegant lines are to die for. Try Stillwhite, preownedweddingdress, nearlynewlywed and posh mark. They all have Berta new, used and samples. Last Minute Bride also makes replicas of gowns. You should also call around toad thr bridal salons you’re willing to drive to and see if they have any samples they are willing to part with for a discount.

Have you also looked up shops that sell Netta BenShabu? Similar in sexy style but less expensive than Berta!

Why not take all the design elements you love and turn them into one dress that is all yours? A local seamstress can do that easily. Make sure to get price quotes before you commit.

Have you looked at the Madi Lane collection? They generally run about $2,000.

Have you looked at Zavana?

Look at Justin Alexander. I am getting something from his Lillian West line. The run about $1500 give or take.

David’s bridal has similar options

Big vote for StillWhite. They have some incredible, luxury styles by high end designers (Berta, Galia Lahav, Stello, Alexandra Grecco) filter through there at a steep discount. Do keep in mind if you buy an expensive dress second hand online you will most likely not be able to try it on first and won't be able to return it if you don't like it. But if you can't afford a $10k+ dress but do have a $2-3k budget, that might be the only way to get something by one of those designers.

Be sure to leave some room in your budget for alterations (anywhere from $150-$900 is typical depending on how extensive they are).
