Can't decide show me your dress

Lily, on July 15, 2019 at 3:07 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4
I'm not having a traditional wedding. So my wedding dress isn't traditional but i can't decide on a dress. I want a black dress or red and black. But what are some helping things that could help me or if someone has some they would like to show

I think it's the kind of thing you just have to try on dresses yourself to see what you like and looks good or if you find a dress online you like maybe you can see if you could find it in different colors. For instance azazie does different colored dresses of one style and they have a sample option

    Hi Lily!

Lot’s of brides choose not to wear white for their wedding. If you search ‘colored wedding dress’ in the forums you will see lots of different community discussions on the topic Smiley smile

Trying on different dresses is really the best way to help you figure out what you want. Have you visited a bridal store yet? Do you plan on visiting one?

I had a family friend who just got a glam red prom dress, she totally rocked it!

Try looking at formal gowns or cocktail dresses. I’ve found that if you search for colored wedding gowns, they give you blush, like that’s an abnormal wedding gown color. So if you look at any dresses that aren’t categorized as wedding or bridal, I think you’ll have a lot more luck. Mother of the bride dresses are a lot less matronly then they used to be, so there may be some options there as well. And of course, prom dresses come in a ton of colors. If all else fails, you can ask about having a gown dyed. You asked about black or red with black. I would do a black dress with red accessories. I think that would look very elegant and might give you the untraditional look you’re going for.
