Can't Decide on Wedding Hair

I made my decision based on what would feel most like 'me.' I wear my hair down every day and only put it up when I'm doing work around the house or when it's crazy hot.

My FH actually assumed I was getting a full updo done, and when I mentioned in passing that my hair would be down for the wedding, he seemed a little bummed (he loves my hair up).

I reassured him that I'd still have it styled super pretty with curls, but also reminded him that I want to look like myself, and then he happily agreed. I never style my hair, so it'll still be special.

I've seen plenty of beach weddings with hair up and hair down, and your stylist will make sure your 'do will last as long as possible no matter what you choose. Are you leaning one way or the other?

I prefer my hair down and so does my husband. I wore mine half up half down. It was hot & humid when we got married, I danced all night & my hair didn't bother me at all!

I only really feel "me" with my hair down, but I am getting married in August and it will be hot, and I don't want to look a mess. I don't want it blowing around crazy in the wind. I am hoping to do a style that is up but still keeps the length. I am looking at styles like this:

Thank you so much! I did extensions, I bought clip in ones from Milk & Blush. They were amazing. I wore them for my bachelorette party & rehearsal dinner, one of my bridesmaids wore them too. Having half pulled back kept it out of my face but still was very bridal & "pinterest hair" because it was curly & long!

You can always do two hair styles ! I had considered up do and then letting it down. There's a lot of easy bun makers and stuff to help you do so

I will say if you are getting married on the beach keep the wind in mind. I also got married on the beach and did an updo with a few strands of hair down and curled but those didn’t last long before they had to go up because they were blowing everywhere in my face in each picture. Although I would have loved them I opted for everything up.

I would suggest up since the beach could be windy. but maybe take to pintrest and see if theres any half up/down styles you like! personally i prefer mine all up - it never stays curled and for dancing its out of the way! best of luck.

View Quoted Comment That's a pretty style. We did our engagement pictures at the beach so def familiar with the wind aspect. Just hate to compromise on what makes me feel prettiest for what's going to be most convenient if that make sense. Guess that's why I'm having such an issue deciding.

Maybe compromise by doing a half-up hairstyle! I think it'd look great on the beach
