Can’t decide a wedding date…help!

Our wedding is on a Monday in January in order to save money. But part of the other reason why we did that was because knowing that our wedding is destination already, people were going to need to take time off no matter when it was! If the majority of your guest list is going to be traveling to come to your wedding you might have a little more flexibility there in which date works for people than you think you do

It's very nice that you are thinking about your guests and trying not to inconvenience them! I would say though not to make it the most important factor in your decision. We realized early on in planning that you'll never be able to please everybody. We are having our wedding Saturday May 21st because our church doesn't hold weddings other days of the week, so the Friday Rehearsal Dinner will still be an inconvenience to those who have to come to that event but are Mon-Fri 8-5 working people like myself. I believe you will find that people are more gracious than you think, and may even enjoy getting an excuse to take off if they have the means to! More are also starting to be more empathetic about couples having to make certain choices due to budgets. Whatever you decide, make sure above all that YOU and your fiancé feel good about the day you have chosen and how it affects your budget.
