Candy bar help!!!!

Lenard, on October 18, 2021 at 11:57 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 9
Hey everyone!
So I’m wanting to have a candy bar!!!!! But I’m also on a pretty tight budget. For those who have had a candy bar, where did you get jars or containers to hold said candy?? Needing something that looks nice with some sort of easy on easy off lid and opening for a scoop or Ladle to reduce contamination.

My wedding is in a bar that’s pretty exposed. We are safe from rain but it’s got no heat and no air. Very rustic and about 90 years old!

I’ve looked on Orientatal Trading Co and all their containers say “ not food safe. Only wrapped food” which is very strange. It’s an old barn so I need something that can have lids or their bowls would work.

Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Kohl's. I would also look at 2nd hand stores (Goodwill etc).

I am in the middle of planning mine as well they have different websites to help bring down the costs. Ive seen others comment Oriental trading as well as Justcandy.com where they sell complete bars if you want it by color. We are also shopping at Sams club for candy and alcohol for our wedding. But containers definitely ask around your families to see if they have any to let you borrow and goodwill, garage sales, and dollar tree has some great ones. Your Oct 2022 so definitely got time. I would go out right after Christmas to look for things. We also looking into a local candy shoppe that we have in the Peoria, IL area that we could do catering for our bar.

We also are doing a her favorite and his favorite marker on them as an added detail that we thought would be cool.
