Candles for Daytime Reception!?

We are considering having candles for our centerpieces and/or in addition to flower arrangements. Our reception is indoors and starts at noon in October. There is one side of the ballroom that is window/doors.

Do you think candles would be odd? Probably not practicable with the day light. But not looking for them to be a source of light. Just decor.

Does your venue allow candles lots dont now adays. depending on how many windows you have the candles could give it a very romantic look

I had candles and I actually didn't even light them aha so I don't think they'd be odd

I think I just didn't want anything to happen aha I put in mine some pearl beads and sand and I also didn't want fake led ones because I had a coupon so my candles were free and real candles are a lot cheaper anyway aha.
