What was this process like moving your venue? My wedding is June I haven’t heard anything from venue and I don’t believe there’s anything in contract addressing something crazy like this. I am Positive that this will be over by then so that I can have my wedding.
September 5th, here! I'm a little uneasy because of all the uncertainty, but we have no plans of cancelling this early. We still have half a year! Hopefully things will be a little settled by then.

We called our venue to see if there were any plan b options, and I think they could see the writing on the wall. She had to get permission, but we were able to transfer our day at the same price to August. And we might even spend more money - they owe us money now - by adding people when things cool down. Our other vendors were also pretty understanding. They all moved the date with what we already paid. Talk to your venue and see if there is a plan b, just for peace of mind. This will probably calm down by June, but if I was you I would want to make sure you have the options.
You should be just fine! Mine is May 9th and I’m honestly not that worried. My venue isn’t cancelling either, and it’s at a barn outdoors so that should help with everyone not being so cramped together. We plan on just having those sick not coming and we are thinking about live streaming it as well for the elderly to watch of if they don’t plan to come. But you still have plenty of time and I’m sure it’ll all be okay by then. 🤗

It was supposed to be 4/4. We postponed ahead of the curve because FH's mom is very fragile and one of his niece's in in quarantine because her teacher tested positive.

Completely agree, I'm also getting married on the 8th of August and hoping for more then just the wedding sake that this is all over way before then. As of right now I believe it's way to soon to stress about this. I feel for all those that have had their wedding planned sooner.
July 23-25 bachelorette Tahoe (nothing booked) August 22 bridal shower local LA county September 19 wedding local LA countyNov 16-25 honeymoon Sandals St Lucia (stay is booked but not flights) Not considering canceling any of these at the moment. Planning what I can while social distancing and not contacting vendors so brides with sooner dates can get through. Catastrophizing is happening but being self-compassionate and using self-care. Staying present and doing what I can to protect mine and my family members’ immune system is all I have control over. Good luck to all my fellow brides and grooms. ❤️

Whitney, I looked at different companies that offer wedding insurance and each one of them state cancellation due to Coronavirus will not be covered.
My wedding is in mid-July and I'm not thinking of postponing quite yet. I think it's too early to make any big decisions right now but that's just my opinion!
That’s per far away I wouldn’t candle just yet. The prediction is everything will die out by July/August. The heart of the summer will help kill the virus
Thank you so much for this response! I reached out and she said as of right know June weddings will not be affected. I will reach out to my other vendors as well : )
On a lighter note, if you cancel it gives all us other brides at your venue a new date I’m just teasing, but in all honesty I’m having to move mine and I’d kill for some of the dates that are currently booked...so yeah you need to wait. YOu’ll be fine. We were April and pushed to July. If this level of crisis isn’t over by July we are in a much different world where we probably won’t care about weddings.

Mine's August 8th, too! 🤞that things will be back to normal-ish by then. Our food tasting was cancelled but the venue said they're not currently expecting to have to cancel any weddings, so that made me feel a little bit better.
