Cancel, postpone, keep?

I realize this is unchartered territory for most venues, but man, they should have someone that can give you an answer!! Or at least to try and work with you to some capacity. That is rapidly approaching and they should understand that you need to know what’s happening. Have you looked into your options if you do postpone? Does your contract have any note about that? We’re making sure all contracts now specify government mandated cancellations or changes.

I'm so sorry to hear that Stephanie! I agree that even though their event directors aren't there, there should be a Food & Beverage Manager or General Manager who can answer your big event questions!

I'd definitely review your contract and see what terms are laid out for postponing & cancelling just so you know your options, but hopefully you'll be able to get in touch with them soon!
