So my FH got an amazing opportunity in his job that will require him to relocate 4 hours away from where we live. He will be starting his job at least a month before our wedding. With the move being kind of quick we need to save up more money to move. His job is helping but the point is we don’t...
So my FH got an amazing opportunity in his job that will require him to relocate 4 hours away from where we live. He will be starting his job at least a month before our wedding. With the move being kind of quick we need to save up more money to move. His job is helping but the point is we don’t want to move 4 hours away from family in the whole. So we can save money on the wedding by cutting people from the guest list. We’ve only sent out save the dates. I just need some help lol. How do I tell people they’re not invited?

If you do, prepare for people to be really offended and possibly end the friendship.

It is a horrible plan. Better to cut back some expenses for all, than to deliver a full package to some, half to others, and leftovers for the last. Tiered weddings are never polite solutions.

No problem I've talked to all of my family and some friends about this situation we are just realist and honestly said if who ever you don't invite hate you afterwards weren't your real friends and probably shouldn't be there anyway. All of them are married I've been to alot of weddings and I'm 30 so I'm not young people at all who gets mad because you don't have the money that's technically the Issue that's just retarted but it will work out at the end of the day don't let no one especially people from the boards deter you because your friends and family might be much more understanding than you think. I am thinking of renting a beach house and one holds 100 then another 70 people I told people I probably couldn't invite them because of it you think they are mad no. They understand normally real friends and family understand.

You really can't uninvite people. You already sent out save the dates, so you're kind of stuck. I would save like there's no tomorrow, get a second job to bring in extra money. Alternatively you could change your venue to a less expensive option.
