Can I see some pictures of brides who did their own makeup?

@Jenny you also need to make sure that when you're testing out looks at home, you have someone take pictures of you from several feet away - like, six feet at least. What may look like enough makeup up close is usually nowhere near enough to show up in professional wedding photos, which are rarely close-ups of your face.

@GB, have you tried LipSense for lipstick? They have colors that stay on all day, and do not feel like gloss, so maybe you can find someone who sells it and try it out. I'm not really much of a makeup person and I love love their stuff.

Bring inspiration pictures (from pinterest, etc) with you to trials so that they have an idea of what you want for your wedding look.
