Cameras for guests?

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting as I'm still new to WW. However, my question is: would providing guests with disposable cameras for my reception be a good idea? Instead of getting a photographer.. Im still considering as I'm trying to stay at as low a budget as possible.

The cost to develop all those cameras is going to set you back anywhere from $3-$5 per camera and you are not guaranteed shots of what you will really want to remember. If you are working with a small budget and truly cannot afford the splurge of a pro photographer check out a local arts college photography program which is full of photographers trying to build portfolios and will be probably be a lot cheaper. (bonus, you give someone their start, because everyone pro has to shoot their first wedding at some point!) Smiley smile

I'm putting them at the kids table just for them to have fun with.

That went out 10 years ago. I wouldn't.
