Calorie counting is actually working!!

I'm already down 30 pounds. My goal is to lose 120 more pounds in the next 18 months before the wedding. I have been eating a healthy 1500 calories a day and excising 30 minutes, even if just walking.

    Lifting heavy is great to help, burns a lot of calories and is okay to do at higher weights. But eating is the most important. Good job!! I hope you have continued success!

    Yes, of course it does lol. If you burn more calories than you take in, it’ll work. Heck, even a McDonalds diet you can lose weight by counting calories but it doesn’t always mean you get all the nutrients. I like using MyFitnessPal and find it’s worked best for me whether I’m trying to gain, lose or maintain!

    Look into IIFYM (if it fits your macros). It goes by calorie counting and making sure you get your major nutrients in all while still enjoy the little guilty pleasures here and there!

    I started about 10 weeks ago. I just started walking 30 minutes a day, drinking only water, and subtracted 500 calories from what I would need to intake to keep my weight as is.
