Cake Pops (and Pie Pops) Quanitity??

Elizabeth, on April 2, 2013 at 11:23 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

Hi! So my fiance and I are looking into doing cake pops at our wedding instead of a traditional cake. Has anybody done solely cake pops? If so, how many did you get in ratio with your guests? We're looking to have around 250 people and I have no idea how many to get! I want to go in with an estimate so I can make sure the bakery doesn't try to oversell me! Any advice is needed!

We also want to do pie pops, which I've seen on pinterest. Any chance there are any Indianapolis people looking at this and know where I can get those made? Thanks!!

My friend does cake pops and I would estimate at least 2 per person. We are doing them for our rehearsal and that is how I will be estimating...left over cake pops is NOT a bad thing! or maybe 2.5 so that would be 625 cake pops

I agree with Jamie - 2-3 per person. I think the more flavors you have, the more people will eat since a lot of people will not want to limit themselves to just 1 flavor.

Even though I live in Indianapolis, I do not know where to get pie pops. I don't go to any of the bakeries around here too much...

We are doing cake pops and ordered 2 per person then were afraid it wouldnt be enough so we also ordered mini cupcakes. With your pie pops 2 per person should be enough Smiley smile Like Jamie G said, left over is never a bad thing Smiley smile Have your baker leave little to go cake pop boxes for guests.
