Our baker is going to provide us with a complimentary anniversary cake with the flavor of our choosing.

Here is my wedding cake! I always knew I wanted 4 tiers, regardless of how many guests we had. I had visions of what i wanted my wedding cake to look like long before my actual wedding. I made sure to get flavors we both liked, that others would like too. My baker made us a replica top tier that wasn't on the actual cake so we had that wrapped up for our anniversary. We cut most of this cake and we had 135 guests. I'd say for your number of guests, you'd need at least 4 tiers (and I'd guess it'll cost a minimum of $600). But you can ask your baker for their opinion and if you're not set on a particular baker, as your venue or local friends for recommendations. Cost of cake all depends on how big you want it and the intricacies of the cake itself. There's usually a standard price per piece, sometimes it's more expensive for different flavors. We did chocolate on the bottom because we figured it was a flavor most people would eat and it's dense enough to hold up. Then we did 2 funfetti layers and cookies and cream.

By "normal," I meant just meant a tiered cake that's meant to look pretty! The groom's cake will be firefighting-related bc my partner is a firefighter. That'll be a little more fun, so I want the other cake to be pretty, lol.

And oh my goodness, the package includes a dessert bar with "Petite Apple Crisps, Pumpkin Tarts, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Snickerdoodles, Frosted Brownie Bites, Lemon Bars, Whoopie Pies, Red Velvet and Boston Cream Pie Shooters, Mini Cheesecakes with Fruit Toppings," but I think we'll try to "trade in" some of those to offset the cost of the additional cake because it just seems like so much sweet stuff! We'll also have light night breakfast food served closer to the end of the reception, so I really don't think people need this much dessert.

WOW😍😋 your desert table is going to be phenomenal. Sounds wonderful already, and that late night snack sounds like a great idea as well. My wedding has to end by 11pm and they only allow outside drinks and desserts no food 😔 I really wanted a taco vendor for late night snack 😂

The cakes your shared are so beautiful! I would Do different flavors in each tier so everyone is happy. I went to a wedding with a white cake with raspberry cheesecake filling and it was one of the best cakes I have ever had. I would definitely do a layer of simple chocolate with chocolate filling for guests that are not so adventurous.

Thank you! I wanted a different design on each tier but I wanted to make sure it all tied in together and fit the venue. The 2nd tier is our initials Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be perfect!
