Cake Cutting Song

I would personally go with Kiss the Girl. It's a little more up beat then Whole New World and Can You Feel the Love Tonight. I know Love is an Open Door is pretty up beat, but Hans turns out to be so evil, it just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth about that song (I love it still, but I just hate that manipulative Hans). We did peppy for our cake cutting (When I'm 64 by the Beatles), which is why I lean towards that direction. If you want to do something more romantic, I would say Can You Feel the Love Tonight.

I doubt anyone really pays attention to the song that's playing while you cut your cake so I don't see a song as a must personally. If it's something you really want though that's fine. I don't have a suggestion on which would be best though - depends on if you want something faster and upbeat or slow and in the background.

I love Kiss The Girl or how about Repunzal I See The Light? it’s a little slower but it’s so cute!

I'm a big Disney fan myself and think that love is an open door is an excellent choice for a cake cutting. Also during the song they talk about food and helping each other so I think it would be very fitting as a cake song. Just my 2 cents from a May 11th bride
