My boss is hosting a shower for her fsil and her mil (the bride's fmil) is insisting on making the dessert--as in NO CAKE. My boss is hosting a shower for her fsil and her mil (the bride's fmil) is insisting on making the dessert--as in NO CAKE.

The mil is making what can only be described as butthole cupcakes (yellow cupcakes, no frosting, with chocolate pudding smooshed in from the top.

We were dying when she told us that her husband, the groom's brother called the groom and said "Hey guess what mom is making for your shower: butthole cupcakes!"

    That is the best thing I've seen in a while. Hilarious!! All they need is some frosting and they will look fine. I have never been to a shower that had a fancy cake that the bride takes pictures in front of. Maybe that's why it's not a big deal to me.
