Hi ladies! Fairly new to Wedding Wire. I'm hoping to get some advice on necklines, silhouettes, etc. for my large bust. While I'm hoping to lose some pounds before the big day, my 42F chest may go down to a DD at most! Any tips or suggestions for me before I start dress shopping?

Wear the dress you feel most comfortable and BEAUTIFUL in! You can definitely wear a strapless if alterations are done properly. My dress was strapless and not once did I have to adjust it or have any concerns the girls were going to pop out.

I'm a 38H and went with a strapless gown with a corset back. I also got a killer long line bra from Elomi. The cups in my Christina Wu gown gave me plenty of room, which is awesome. My seamstress is actually tacking my long line bra into my dress so it is one piece for the wedding and everyone will stay in their assigned seats.

I am a 34G and you have to tey dresses on. Some of them have great corsets built in, but you will probably want to stay away from illusion back dresses unless the non-illusion part comes up to where a corset would give you support. Ultimately I chose one with a built in corset and boning in a v neck style, but STILL required straps in similar color added underneath lace.

I've had the best luck with shallow to mid depth v-neck dresses with decent sized straps. Lots of support, you can usually wear a good bra, and it doesn't look like you're trying to hide the fact that you have boobs.

Hey girly! I'm busy too I'm a 40F I went with the dress that made them show slimmer it's so important and so hard to find the dress. I can't tell you how important it is to start looking for dresses now to support the girls! I tried on lots of dresses till I found the one. My dress is off the shoulder a mermaid style and it fits me like a glove , the back is a corset so if I loose weight it can be altered

I'm a 38G and ended up going the strapless route with a corset back and the dress I tried on felt very secure in the salon. As a back up I'm having custom made straps added on...a little bit pricey but worth it for me as added on security. As a bridesmaid in many a weddings I will say someone who does really good alterations you shouldn't have to worry about that whole having to constantly pull up your strapless dress.

    I'm a 34DDDD

Tried lots of styles. I recommend dresses that would accentuate your waistline & don't worry about chest area. Wedding dresses are made to fit Only You.
