Bustle - What did you do?

So I am in love with a dress, but while trying it on the consultant showed me what she would do to bustle this type of dress (small shop, she does alternations also) and I hated it. Or I thought it made my butt look funky or whatever. So what did you do for a bustle or what are you planning to do?...

I made mine myself because I didn’t want to spend $500 to pin up some tulle. This is the in progress shot so the pins are still visible. I recommend you get a second opinion. I had to try several to get a look I want. First pic is my bustle I decided on. Second pic is the epic fail I tried, which shows that just because one bustle looks bad doesn’t mean another style won’t look nicer. (Please ignore the furniture on the floor lol, trying to keep my dog out)

Same here. My train is short, but I'm going to have it removed. I don't like the look of a bustle and a train isn't right for me. I like floor-length.

Mine is definitely a BUSTLE and I thought I would hate hate hate it and considered chopping off my train as well but I actually don’t mind this at all. No one is going to be giving your bustle a second thought but you

I agree, Michelle. I don't like the way bustled dresses look. I am having it hemmed enough where I won't need it bustled. Have a great day!
