Bustle help

Heeeelllpppp

I went for my final fitting last night. The seamstress did a wonderful job with the sizing of my gown. However I am very unhappy with the bustle. The hooks are clearly visible, and I feel take away from the back of the gown.
Am I being a Bridezilla? Should I ask for them to be removed and forget about the bustle? Bustle help 1Bustle help 2

Your dress is gorgeous & fits you perfectly! Honestly, if you hadn’t pointed it out, I wouldn’t have even noticed. Definitely keep the bustle- you don’t want to be tripping over your dress!

Agree with this. There’s no realistic way to go about your reception without a bustle. You’re going to trip, trip everyone else, and damage your dress.

I think it looks great! There isn’t a great way to hide the buttons for the bustle on your dress.
Sometimes they can blend it into beading or if there are pleats and layers. However it looks like they used buttons that matched so it looks very nice

You could always ask her to flip the bustle so that the ties are underneath the dress instead of hooks on top. The only drawback of that is you’ll have a big puff where the hooks used to be

If you had not said anything, I would have thought the buttons were part of your dress. Since you have buttons down the back, the bustle buttons kind of work! If you are very unhappy with it, you could always take it to another seamstress to see if it can be changed (you definitely want a bustle!). But again, I think it looks beautiful.

I think you look great even with the buttons. I think you are seeing it more and worrying but from the outside its not a bad look at all but ultimately you should feel your most confident on that day so if you are worried, you can always ask if there is another solution
