So yesterday I went for my first dress fitting. Hooray! And I am paying over $100. For my bustle. I don't mean to pry, but can you disclose the price you paid for your bustle? I'm curious what the ballpark figure is. Can you also cite where you bought your gown/ where the alterations are being/ were...

I went to my first fitting today and I am getting a bustle with 8 total buttons (3 underneath and 5 on top). I am paying $85. Maybe a bit steep but I totally procrastinated and am now 7 weeks out and needed to get my dress hemmed and bustled so I just went with DB (where I got the dress) instead of shopping around.

My bustle was $45. I actually talked my seamstress down $15 because another woman in her shop quoted me $30 ($10 per point). It was supposed to be $60 ($20 per point). Then $10 pinning fee and a few other misc stitching fixes due to buying sample dress off the rack. So all in all I paid $75 for everything.

I got my dress at Wendy's Bridal in Fort Wayne IN and went through them for alterations as well.
