Bustle Clip????

For my wedding dress the only thing that I need altered is the bustle. The length is perfect and so is everything else. So I was looking at the different types of bustles there are out there and how much it will cost. Then I cam across the genius thing called a bustle clip!?!?!?!? First off totally cool idea. Second of all, I can get a pretty cool looking one for like $20 on http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com/cr/Bustle-Clips/3651

So my question is: Has anyone done something like this or seen something like this being used? Is it actually worth it? I love the idea and really kind of want to, but want to ask my WW family their opinion first.

Thoughts ??

I think it would add some pretty embellishment but then you would have to decide what type of bustle to do. I would play around with my dress and a clothespin or brooch just to see if it would work. I have never had a bustle so I know very little about them.

Your dress is gorgeous =)

Yeah, I agree with tidaknot. I think this is an embellishment to a bustle and not something that is done instead of a bustle. Your dress is gorgeous and I think one of those clips would look perfect on it!

Oh ok. I see what you are saying. I thought it took the place of the bustle, not just an embellishment for the bustle. I think you are right though that it would add a little something to the back of it since most of the pizazz is in the front.

A DB dress! I love that one. When I was thinner I tried it on and loved it. But now that I'm... bigger... it just doesn't look right on me.

I'm curious to hear about the bustle clip. The dress I'm thinking of would utilize a
French bustle. Not sure how that works.
