Choose what you like. I think if you choose taupe, you can bring out more color by using bright flowers with hanging ribbon and a flower in the hair. I happen to like taupe for a June wedding. If you do decide on burgundy though, get a light fabric. Satin or similar fabrics are heavy and better for a winter wedding. Stick to light fabrics like chiffon or silk.
