Budget wedding dresses..maybe rental?

Sooo after looking at various stores many of these wedding gowns are ridiculously expensive. My budget apparently isn't realistic when I go shopping around because most are over $500 and up. My budget is $300 or so. Has anyone ever rented a dress and how much did that end up costing? One place asked for $3k just to rent.. anyone know any good online budget sites that are legit or even rental gown websites? Thanks!

    Check out Cocomelody, Azazie, BHLDN, Anthropology, and ASOS. You can also look for white special occasion dresses at upscale department stores (like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks, etc.).

    I will say that $300 is definitely considered a lower budget for a wedding dress unless you find sales or purchase online. Some places I would look would include David's Bridal (online they have dresses for $500 or less), Azazie, Amazon (read reviews and look for ones that offer free returns), and Lulus. You could also check places for white prom dresses.

    Unfortunately I think you’re gonna have to buy something that’s not a “wedding dress” per say. I would check out the sites previously mentioned. I get it. My dress cost $2k and then I had $800 in alterations. It’s expensive!

    The rental through a little chapel in vegas is around three to four hundred dollars.

    Similar to some previous posts, you can find white bridesmaid styles. Or look for formal dresses in non-wedding stores.

    Everyone gave a lot of great suggestions. Also, I think David’s Bridal still does the $99 dress sale. I just don’t know when it is, so that may be a good thing to find out.

    You can also look at preownedweddingdresses.com or stillwhite.com for a used dress. Some of the designer dresses on there are still very expensive, but there are also some very good deals. You can probably get something for $300 on there. Just pay close attention to the measurements as many of the dresses have been altered. Good luck!

    You have a lot of options actually. David’s has $99 sales on wedding dresses occasionally but make sure you get alterations done elsewhere. Azazie.com has a few options under $300 for wedding dresses or you can browse their site for white bridesmaid dresses. Ever-pretty.com has wedding dresses under $100.

    I went with a girlfriend to David’s Bridal this weekend and she bought a really pretty A line dress with lace. It was $249.

    Check some local bridal stores about rentals - my SIL rented her dress for $50!

    Yes they are unreasonable priced. I'm getting married early October, I did go to David's Bridal and they have dresses between $200-300. I ordered one for $350 that I aw there but I'm canceling/returning cause I went on Posh Mark app, and they have many new dresses with tag on, and I bought another wedding dress for $160 new with tag on. Should arrive next week. Go check those girl before you hit store!

    It was a local boutique in her area. I would recommend calling some small local shops near you.
