There was a entry early in this post by OG Kathryn, i was hoping to to find out what venue in East Windsor, CT did you get married? I have about 65 to 70 guests, I'm looking for an all inclusive, food, open bar, cake, & decorations. Any help from CT brides would be appreciated. Looking for venues in central ct, so it can be close to all guests.

    Naples, FL 50 guests

Ceremony venue is a park overlooking the beach-$530

Reception- about $3,000. Final number depends on what people pick for their meal option because they're different prices

Dress-$1,400 still needs to be altered

    DJ- $650

    Limo-$300

    Shuttle for guests-$400

    Hair and makeup- $130

    Cake-$508

Chair rental for ceremony and chair sashes- $244

    Photographer- $2,000

    Officiant- $175

Linen rentals and chair covers for reception- $400 our reception venue only has white linens and my dress is ivory so I'm renting ivory linens

    Invitations-$240

We've spent about $400 in other things like the cake cutting set, card box, hanger for my dress, shoes, garter, robe....

    Still need a lot more

    NJ-

    we invited 32 people

    We had 29 RSVP yes

And I had 3 that didn't stay for dinner.

There were other things that got paid for- so I would comfortably say 15000 was my total cost ish.

We originally planned for a 5-8 K budget but our plan changed significantly from an "immediate family only take them to a restaurant" to a fully catered meal. So- while I deeply regret the event over all- I am not surprised- it was a wonderful event- and everything was well hosted IMHO.

I wish we had stuck with our 5K plan and just done that.

@nope. We are having a dry wedding for three reasons. 1) my FH and I don't drink. 2) my wedding is on a Monday. Most people have to take the day off for it, didn't want them to have to take a second one. 3) We are having a kid friendly wedding as he has 5 nieces and nephews and a lot of my friends and cousins have kids. It's a wedding on Halloween, I want everyone to have fun!
