Brunch reception anyone?

I love brunch. So much so, that I would love to do a brunch cocktail hour and reception! I’ve gotten a few quotes back from caterers, and while they “say” brunch is cheaper, it’s still pricey. The idea of little chicken and waffles and French toast kabobs sounds amazing, but the reality hit me fast - you’ll blow your budget with all the cute frills. I would love to do bottomless mimosas and a waffle bar (with chicken and fruit toppings my for cocktail hour. What do you guys think? Anyone have an awesome brunch wedding?

We went to brunch wedding and had a great time! The bottomless mimosas didn't hurt haha.

That’s good to hear!! I never went to one but am 100% set on having one. I know folks like open bar but it’s not in my budget. Mimosas are though! Haha.

I love the idea of a brunch reception, brunch is really the best of both worlds in my book. I wouldn’t really partake of an open bar, to me mimosas and other non-alcoholic options like coffee, juice, etc would be fine. Happy planning!

I told my mom I wanted a sunrise ceremony, we’re planning September in the mountains so like 7am ish, and she told me “No one will come” lol- which would probably be fine with us to be honest.

I’ve never been to a brunch wedding but I love brunch!!! I’d be down for mimosas, chicken & waffles and some eggs. Ya hoo!

I love brunch. It's my favorite meal.
My fiance and I are not morning people so we couldn't do brunch but I am in love with brunch weddings

We are doing a brunch wedding because I could eat breakfast food all day! Everyone I have spoken to love the idea because it is different. Go for it!

We are not doing brunch, but this sounds awesome! I am also a lover of brunch and think it's a really great idea. Are you planning on serving brunch at a later hour or are you having a morning ceremony?

Hi Erin! I am an avid brunch goer! We are thinking of doing a 12:30/1PM ceremony with a 1/1:30PM cocktail hour and reception.
