Brown Skinned Brides - White or Ivory Dress?

Ivory. I dont like bright white.

I choose champagne. I think the darker you are the better white looks on you. The contrast is amazing. And for girls more the in the middle I think ivory looks best.

Ivory. I do like white, however, I didn't like the way my dress looked in bright white.

My dress is technically called silk white, definitely closer to white than ivory. I didn't like the fact that most ivory/champagne colored dresses seemed to have a yellow/golden hue compared to my skin lol

I did ivory because my bridal consultant said the white dresses tend to have a hue of blue to it. But the ivory looks very white as well.

Ivory. The white was shinier and gave off a silvery glow, it wasn't bad at all, I just wanted more of a warmer glow that the ivory dress gave off.

I did silk white. I think darker skin tones look great in the bright white.

I think ivory!! All up to personal preference though

I did ivory bc I fell in love with my dress and Ivory looked better on me.

Both of my dresses are ivory. But I prefer ivory in general for any skin tone because it looks good universally. And also (to me) ivory gives the dress a more quality look.

I went with white and I’m very tan.

The tag on my dress says ivory but it's not like a close-to-white ivory. It looks more of champagne/ivory.

In most cases, ivory to our eyes is "white". I thought the dress I chose was white but was ivory. I thought ivory would be more cream.. but no, it's a beautiful soft white. the white you think when you think white.

the white bridal boutiques mention are more sterile and can have a more bluish hue in photos. personally, they look cheap.

My ivory dress when hanging up actually looked far from white even my mom was not pleased but when I put it in it was such a white dress and my mother was confused on how it could look one way off and another on.
