Ours is June 28th in OBX but we live in VA and I am equally disheartened. I feel like postponing is in our near future, as most of our family has to travel from VT and NY. I’m at a loss for what to do.

Though this is super heart breaking just remember they are trying to slow the curve. This could end sooner then June 10th as far as the “stay at home” goes. I think you definitely need a plan C just in case. But also trying to push through with your June wedding. If the stay at home order is still in effect by mid May then I would move to plan C.

I'm starting to get disillusioned myself this will ever end. I can't bare the thought of moving my wedding another year

Where is your venue? We are getting married at the Sanderling Resort and they are urging us to not postpone just yet. I’m giving it until the beginning of May to see if things get better from here!!! Fingers crossed we both can still have our June weddings! 🤞🏻

Hi there, so sorry you are going through this too, you're not alone! I've just posted a lengthy message regarding this issue. I think it would really help you to read it.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Gladys, of course this is stressful and upsetting. It sucks that you had to go through the rescheduling process once and now you have to do it all again. You must be exhausted. Do you need help communicating things to your guests? Have your other vendors moved to your new date? If you need us we’ve set up a hotline at (833) 998-2865 where we can give support and advice Smiley heart

So sorry for you! I honestly feel like it will be a while before the situation improves. We are May 30th and pretty much just waiting to be shut down at this point. Right now I feel like we will just do a private ceremony (just my FH and I and an officiant, witness, and maybe a photographer) and perhaps consider having a party sometime in 2021 or after. As a bride who has already been so stressed about this, I can't imagine rescheduling our wedding for later in the summer/fall, only to be on suspense the whole time and have to reschedule it again. If our original date was later in the summer/fall I would wait and see, but I just think my emotions aren't resilient enough right now to push it back only to push it back again and again. I am so sorry. I hope you can find a way to have a beautiful day whatever you decide to do and whenever you decide to do it!

Good luck to you too!! Funny, our backup date is November 22! I’m a little worried about it being chilly, but I’ll just have to suck it up! Stay safe!
