So I’m kinda curious how many bridesmaids everyone has. I don’t really have any friends and I only have one friend I plan on asking to be my maid of honor and I was hoping to have at least 3 girls on my side but I don’t have anyone else. My mom keeps telling me to ask my sister but she’s kinda...

My mom keeps telling me to ask my sister but she’s kinda trashy and I don’t want her to be in the bridal party. Idk what to do.

I am only having a Matron of Honor. Most of my friends are guys. My fiancé is only having his brother as his Best Man, no groomsmen. Our wedding will be small, so it makes sense for us.

You can do what you want. I only have two girls in my bridal party and it’s my sister & my aunt. Just pick who you want by you on your special day!

I’m going to have my cousin as my maid of honor and my future sister in law as my bridesmaid. I don’t have many friends and no one I’m close enough to to have in my wedding. We are also having a small wedding so it fits I think.

Have as few as you want. We don’t have a bridal party and it’s been one of the best decision! It would’ve been extra expenses, logistics, & stress & potential drama. And no one misses it! Although, I can see having a reliable MOH would be nice as a go-to & for emotional support. You do you.

Have as many as you want! I wasn’t originally going to have a bridal party, but I thought about it and realized I wanted my gal pals standing with me, even if there weren’t that many of them. One of them backed out five months ago but luckily I was able to replace her quickly.

Be sure and do what YOU want. There are tons of unwarranted Opinions, especially when it comes to bridesmaids. Do what makes you happy!

I will have 4 bridesmaids. I have no maid of honor because they are all my maid of honors in my heart. 2 are my daughters and 2 are my best friends. I’m not sure what my fiancé’s side will look like.

But even with 4, we’re having a fun, non traditional wedding so it works for us.

Do what works for you and you will be happy.

We are actually not having anyone up with us. I personally decided that I wanted something more intimate and just us, it also saves money. He agreed!

It’s all personal preference and what you and your partner decide. Don’t worry about judgment, it’s your day!

And believe me, I have to keep telling myself this same thing! I’m always worried about accommodating people.

You can have 1 or none! My FSIL has been to a couple of weddings recently and the couple didn't have a wedding party. Do whatever makes you happy, its your wedding! 😊

I have 2 MOHs- my sister and my best friend and a flower girl (her requested title) who is my almost 21 year old niece. Those are the only people i want standing up next to me on that day. I have a crap ton of family and friends i could add but when it came down it, i couldn't have a bunch of people just for numbers sake. I only chose those that i am closest to.

I have a lot of acquaintances but not really friends either lol. I’m very close to my cousin so she’s my maid of honor. I’m close to my sisters as well, so those three are bridesmaid. I then offered my two fsil to be a part of it too.

I'm having 1 MOH and 1 bridesmaids both my sisters. One is perfectly fine. It's about who is going to be there for you on your big day and after.

I had 3 bridesmaids, 1 bridesman and 1 moh. My husband had 3 groomsmen, 1 groomswoman, and 1 best man. We had an even number, but it isn't necessary. My side included my brother, my husband's sister, my sister, my brother's wife and one of my friends. You don't have to have the same number of people on each side either we just happened to. My brother had a smaller wedding party of 2 on each side. I've been to weddings with like 10 bridesmaids and groomsmen, but it is completely up to you. You also can have guys on your side as having all females or guys as bridesmaids and groomsmen isn't necessary. If you have close male friends or relatives that you would like to honor then they could be on your side. My brother-in-law's wife had 3 girls and 3 guys on her side. You have total freedom when it comes to you what in your bridal party.

I have 3 girls (including my MOH). The way my FH and I decided on people was by thinking, could we imagine them NOT being there. Dont feel obligated to include anyone that you dont want there or dont feel comfortable having there. Good luck and happy planning. 🍀

When my mom got married she had just a maid of honor! I have a maid of honor and 3 bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid and flower girl with 2 ring bears so it all depends on what you have to work with! No worries!!
