Bridesmaids

I am having 3 standing up with me 1 MOH and 2 maids. have as many as you feel is right!

I have 3 bridesmaids and 1 MOH. I had SOMEWHAT of the same thought about my sister. Although I love her, we also don't have that close of a relationship like we used to. I still invited her though. There's absolutely no limit on how many you can have in your bridal party. If you only have 1 person you care enough about to be by your side, then that's perfectly ok.

I'm having three. One is a friend, my moh is my sister and FHs sister will be the third. I've never had many friends. Quality over quantity.

Also..i was just at a wedding where they skipped the wedding parties all together. Just a bride and a groom. It worked out well

I have 8 so far. Hoping nothing happens and they all be able to pull through. Especially my sister in New York since the wedding is in Alabama

I am having a small bridal party as well, my MOH and 2 bridesmaids. (I didn't ask my sister to be a bridesmaid either). I don't have any other close girlfriends and I am happy that I chose to keep the party small. Fewer schedules to plan around!

You can ask whoever you want to be in your party. If they are important to you and you know they will make your day that much more fun, go for it! I don't think you need a huge bridal party to have a great time!

Completely your choice! My mom keeps pressuring me to have my little sister as a bridesmaid, but she's 13 and will be the flower girl. I also have a very small number of friends. I will have my MOH and 1 bridesmaid.

I’m having three total. My best friend is my maid of honor. My sister and cousin going to be my bridesmaid.

I opted out of bridesmaids. I couldn’t choose between my friends and I didn’t want an overwhelming large amount of people standing at the alter with me.

I’ll have one friend, my sister, niece, and then my 8 year old niece as a junior bridesmaid, and my other niece and great niece as flower girls. It feels like A LOT. His side will be his 3 friends, uncle, and our two sons. The head table will be uneven since he has more adults but it is what it is. I think one is plenty if that’s who you want. I was actually only going to have one adult but didn’t want my sister and niece to be upset about that.

I'm having 6. One is my sister and one is my fiance's sister. I don't think having more than 1 bridesmaid is necessary. I would rather have 1 friend by me than 6 girls that I asked to to fill the bridesmaids spots.

I will be having 3. 1 is totally fine! You should only have people you are 100% sure you want by your side to be up there with you

I’ll have 2 matron of honors and 4 bridesmaids. And my FH will have 1 best man and 5 groomsman. 1 is perfectly fine. Just remember that it is your day!! Do whatever you wanna do!

I’m having 2, a MOK & a BM. FH has a groomsman & BM. Had he not added his bother as groomsman, we would have stayed at one a piece, and I was perfectly content with that. (I know uneven sides are ok but I didn’t like the look for me.)

I'm not sure how many I'm having, but I want to have the same number as DH. It'll probably be 4 or less. I can't decide if I just want my 2 sisters or some friends too. It honestly doesn't matter. Only ask your sister if you two are close and that's what you want.

My fiance will have 4 and I have 3 that I've picked so far. Since I have time, I'll wait before choosing my 4th but I'm leaning towards a newer friend over previously close friends who I've lost frequent contact with.

I am only having one also, I have no sisters, he has two sister in laws that I'm not super close with ( and worry if I put in the wedding they might make it about them and not about me), not close with my fh half sister or my brother's gf. I have people I talk to but not close enough to be a bridesmaid. I think he will have his brother and half brother, so we will be uneven.

One BM is just fine the smaller the better.
