I’m really just posting to vent my frustration. Originally, I should have listened to my FH about having 7 bridesmaids. These girls did not have their STUFF together. I’ve been planning this wedding for 2 years. Mostly everyone knew their role the moment he set the date. Others found out maybe a year out from the wedding date. I gave these girls a deadline to order their dress online from a website that takes about a month to get delivered! WHY HAVE ONLY TWO GIRLS ORDERED THEIR DRESS AND MY WEDDING IS IN FEBRUARY 🤣. I’m laughing to keep from screaming. Only three girls from my wedding party participated in my bachelorette party 🤦🏽‍♀️. When I tell y’all I told them straight up, you’re not hurting my feelings by not standing up there ‘cause I’m getting married regardless & it’ll save me money. My feelings aren’t hurt but I’m frustrated because all these ladies I trusted at least enough to just know they would come through for me. Or at least their cousin! Most of the girls are apart of his family! It’s like no one cares that I’m getting married.

One bridesmaid forgot & the one that lives with me just didn’t come home. That’s so mean of her. I’m sorry you went through the pain but glad you found out in enough time. It’s her lost!

Wow I'm so sorry. One of my bridesmaids forgot we were going dress shopping and the whole day was planned around her schedule because she was the only one that worked weekends. I was so furious and hurt. She ended up dropping out on her own. So I totally get what you are going through. Don't let negative people bring you down.

I would never theyre both friends from when we were little and im always there when they need something. The one that at least let me know yes. The one who just went MIA not at all. Ill honestly probably never speak to her again. I'd have a lot more respect for her if she just would have just said something.

This is gif fits perfectly. It’s unfortunate they signed up and then couldn’t follow through with the minimal pre wedding events. They should have been upfront about what they wouldn’t have been able to purchase or participate in within a timely fashion. It’s just the courtesy. Everyone is good with time management and while life does happen, I presume from your post and conversations with them everyone’s had notice of what’s to be expected of them. I hope everything works out in the end 💫

Girl I HEAR and FEEL this. Having a wedding party has literally been the WORST part of my entire wedding process. I can maybe help you feel better, my wedding is in 6 days and my MOH and one of my BM's are in TURKEY. They are returning on Thursday....yup. I hope things improve with your girls!!

First off yay!!! How does it feel being so close to your wedding?! & whatttt that’s so crazy. Trying to not freak out is definitely easier said then done! & a girl that I just recently met (we hit it off instantly, she even took the weekend off just to be at my bachelorette party) said she really wanted to be a bridesmaid. I think I’m better now just not dealing with some of my FH family

Definitely! I was always considerate of the time. I’m far from a last minute person which is why I planned 2 years in advance. Cause life happens you know. And I’m like so understanding. Like just let me know up front! Thank you for listening. Things are getting better. I feel better.

Exactly! Communication is definitely a problem solver in all areas of life. But people either don’t communicate at all, or don’t effectively know how.

Man, if any of my four did that to me, I would have an anxiety attack. To be honest, that is why originally I only wanted one bridesmaid (back in the days when I was a single girl dreaming about my hypothetical FH who totally want the tiny wedding I wanted ) , my matron of honor and best friend because I have 0% doubt about her ability to come through. But my FH happened and he wanted a bigger wedding and wedding party, so we had to compromise and do a medium sized wedding and wedding party. LOL
