I've been searching online for bridesmaids dresses for a few months, not really planning to do any in-person shopping because of COVID (in CA, they limit group sizes in the store) and I also have bridesmaids in different parts of the country.
I recently found a stunning dress from a small, online boutique and I absolutely fell in love with it. It's just the right style, length, color, price... and perfect for our casual beach wedding. I was also open to having the girls pick their own dress style in the same color but I was not really wow'ed by any of the typical bridal stores (Show Me Your Mumu, Lulus, etc.). I was looking and hoping for something very specific and I think I found it.
My biggest concern - and what I've been worried somewhat-sick about - is that the bridesmaids aren't happy with them... we just got the dresses in & 3 of the 6 have tried them on and they had nice things to say about them - "love the color" or "it's cute" and I love them for being supportive. But I can't kick the feeling that, deep down, they aren't super happy with them and I feel terrible - like I made a mistake in making them all wear the same dress...
The price is really great at $68/each (which was a big requirement of mine - nothing too fancy or expensive) and I'm not at all controlling or suggesting what they wear for shoes, jewelry, etc... I want them to be happy & comfortable and to be able to show off their own style and personality, too.
Anywho, just needed to vent and hopefully get some advice. Should I feel guilty for having everyone wear the same dress?
